Hi ya'll! Hope you had a wonderful weekend. I played lazy on Saturday but worked hard yesterday to finish up yet another room. I can see a light at the end of the "major project tunnel." But, those projects will have to wait. Today we're going to bid a fond farwell to Rhoda's Thrifty Treasures party. I thought I'd share my favorite finds of the summer. But, there is one new favorite, found just this week. This picnic basket was $3 at my favorite thrift store. I've noticed that I don't haunt it as much as usual. I think Rhoda made a great call ending the party this week. I'm about all shopped out.
My lovely sofa, a Craigslist find, has to be my absolute favorite find of the summer. $100 very well spent!
I about had a heart attack when I found this Wedgwood piece at Goodwill for $2.49. It's pretty new, but gorgeous!
My $5 mirror was a steal. I've seen TONS of great mirrors this summer, a few I regret not grabbing. But, there are only so many places to put mirrors...
And, last but not least, my Venetian magazine rack, a steal for only $2.49 at Goodwill back earlier in the summer.
There were so many great finds this summer it was really hard to narrow it down! Of course, I've pretty much replaced everything in my home over the warm weather months and that tunnel keeps getting shorter and shorter.
Great finds, I love that sofa and mirror. Your bedroom looks similar to mine! Our headboards are almost alike and we have the same colors.

Cute picnic basket! I got one earlier in the season, too. Love the mirror. I am kinda shopped out, too. I think my last estate sales will be this week. Up early tomorrow to see what I can find. I love silver and glassware, and anything special that grabs me. who knows?
