French fluffing

Welcome once again to Transformation Thursday! It's the one day of the week we come together to celebrate getting things done. Everyone is welcome to participate, just join in on MckLinky below.

This week, we're on week one of getting our 5 tasks a week completed. I didn't get my list finished, but I've spent a crazy amount of time away from home. My mother in law is still in the hospital, but is doing MUCH better. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

I did take 10 minutes out of my afternoon to put together this adorable "French script" pillow. I used some scraps of a drop cloth and used this method to whip it together in just a couple of minutes.

It took longer to practice my fancy handwriting in a French phrase, but I still made a mistake in the order of the words. {Find more mistakes at Embellished Bayou.} I don't think any French speaking friends will be popping by anytime soon, so maybe I won't be too embarrased. I used a brown Sharpie to write straight onto the fabric. Even with the boo-boo, J'adore!

Add your project with MckLinky, and PLEASE link back here. Also visit & comment -- we all adore comment love!

  20. I'm dying to write on things. So far I have written on a quilt.

Next up: the walls or at least the beams! But it might be a while...maybe I should start with a pillow!

    Good work!
