Welcome once again to Transformation Thursday! It's the one day a week we all get together to celebrate getting things done. All projects are worth celebrating - big or small! No matter if this is your first time or you've been strutting your stuff for months, we want to see what you're up to. Link up with MckLinky at the bottom of this post.
It's no big surprise that I love some PB hacks. L.O.V.E. And, if you've been around here a while, you remember this post. {I promise, this is the last leg of this one... I think} I figured out how to replicate the ball on a couple of different posts, but I finally found the best way to copy that urn. These pieces were only PB props, not actually for sale... but it's ok - we've knocked them off enough already.
Lookie what I found at Hobby Lobby on Monday. 80% off - $6. Even though it was knicked a little, I knew exactly what to do with it! Paint, sand, glaze. My three favorite past times.
Pair it up with a thrift store clock (mysteriously like a PB one), those PB keys and a decorative ball (that my kiddos got me for Christmas) on top of a 10 cent yard sale candle stick, and I'm good to go! I just love getting the look for less.
Now it's your turn - show us what ya got! Just put your PERMALINK into MckLinky and pretty, pretty please link back here so everyone can find the great ideas. Ready to go?
Then let'er rip, tater chip!

I love "hacks" and "knockoffs". Great job on yours.

Paint, sand glaze. My three favorite pasttimes - HAHA! ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you rescued it from both being semi-unwanted (clearance can not be good for home decor self-esteem) and a life of ugly red-brown-ness.
