Welcome once again to Transformation Thursday! It's the one day of the week we all get together to celebrate getting stuff done. No matter if the project is big or small - they're all worth celebrating! Just join up with Linky below.
I've been collecting decorative balls for quite some time now. As with all collections, they look much better if all displayed together instead of strewn haphazardly throughout your space. To gather all of my collection in one place, Mr. SCC created a beadboard crate, like this one, however we made it a little longer, wider and deeper to fit the sidebar.
I didn't really have enough to fill it up properly, so I used Kara's trick and made a few moss covered ones to fill in the holes.
Tucking burlap in the bottom as filler, it made adding lifts and levels easier to hide.
Now, my collection is all in one place and makes a much bigger impact!
Sooo.... whatcha got? I wanna see and so does everybody else! Just leave your link in the thumbnail linky below. (I really like those!) Be sure to use your permalink & PLEASE link back here on your actual post so that everyone can easily find the great ideas. I don't like being a meanie, so please play by the rules. Ready? Set? Go!

But today is Wednesday... ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour collection is wonderful. I have several of the painted terracotta balls. Mine are outside in the summer and inside in the winter. Thanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteThat beadboard crate looks so good. I have tons of leftover beadboard in my garage. I need to make one of those. I love all the decorative balls especially the moss ones. I need to make some of those too. And I love the turqoise ceiling tile. Can I just have your whole vingette?
ReplyDeleteLove that collection! I saw the moss balls, and have been wanting to make some. Hopefully soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for hosting another great party!

Love your collection. Posting was sooooo easy!! Thank You
ReplyDeleteYou are brilliant. I mean, I know to mass my collections for impact, and I've added stuff to the bottom of containers to make my collections look larger, but I never thought about making "filler" like you've done with the moss balls. So cool! Thank you for sharing this idea--this looks great!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a transformation to share this week. . . I need to get on the ball and get something done before next Thursday! But thank you for providing this opportunity to "show and tell." :)
