Stenciling curtains & a giveaway!

Welcome again to Transformation Thursday! It's the one day a week we all get together to celebrate getting stuff done! No matter if this is your first time or if you've been here for the entire time, everyone is welcome! Just hook up with the Linky below. If you want the button, you can find it in the sidebar --->
This week I transformed my bedroom curtains! I'm working on changing a few things bit by bit, and the curtains, although pretty were kinda plain. (Please excuse the before pic, it was the only one I could find.)
Janna from Cutting Edge Stencils had sent me a beautiful wall stencil - one that would be perfect for stenciling a big, beautiful print onto fabric.
Following her very detailed instructions, she recommended using a short nap roller, so that's what I used. I mixed black & white paint to get a dark grey - a new color that will soon be making another appearance in my bedroom.
I did a few test runs before attempting it on the curtains.
I did a spot, let it dry, moved the fabric and did another spot.
Easy Peasy!
In less than an hour, my curtains had a whole new look.

Would you like to win a Cutting Edge Stencil? Janna is giving one away to one lucky reader (up to $40 value)! Just link up with your project to get your name in the running. Don't have a project? Just leave a comment. Either way you could be a winner!

Before you link up - Did you see the Challenge?
And don't forget that Monday is the Summer Bash!

Welll.... whatcha got? I wanna see, and so does everybody else! Just put your permalink into the linky below. Please link back here so that everyone can find all the great projects. Be sure to visit at least the person above and below you and leave a comment so that everyone has fun.
Anddddd..... Let'er rip, tater chip!

  3. I'm so excited for the 10 tasks challenge. I'm already assembling my list. The only problem I can forsee is July 1st is Canada Day (our version of Independence Day), so I might not get much of a chance to work on that day's project. We will see!

Thank you for the linky party. I'm looking forward to this week's posts.
