Stenciling curtains & a giveaway!

This week I transformed my bedroom curtains! I'm working on changing a few things bit by bit, and the curtains, although pretty were kinda plain. (Please excuse the before pic, it was the only one I could find.)

Janna from Cutting Edge Stencils had sent me a beautiful wall stencil - one that would be perfect for stenciling a big, beautiful print onto fabric.

Following her very detailed instructions, she recommended using a short nap roller, so that's what I used. I mixed black & white paint to get a dark grey - a new color that will soon be making another appearance in my bedroom.

I did a few test runs before attempting it on the curtains.

I did a spot, let it dry, moved the fabric and did another spot. 

Easy Peasy!

In less than an hour, my curtains had a whole new look.
