Table Transformation

Welcome once again to Transformation Thursday!
It's the one day of the week we all get together to celebrate getting stuff done.
No matter if your project is big or small, if you've been here for months or
this is your first go round, everyone is welcome to sign up with Linky below.
This week I've knocked another one off my 10 tasks list
by creating a "slipcover" for my table. I literally cut the top and side pieces
by draping the fabric right on the table, then fitting it all together
with pins and sewing it together. (I bought the fabric at the thrift store - a bolt for $7!)
Now that it's finished, I'll have a beautiful table for the
market we're doing in Corinth, MS on Saturday!
Not to mention I will have this table cloth for years to come.

Soooo.... whatcha got? I wanna see, and so does everybody else! Just hook up with your PERMALINK and please link back here so everyone can see all the great ideas.

That little table cloth is fab! Don't you just LOVE making things that work well and know you didn't spend a bunch of money doing it? I love that! Hope you're having a great week so far, friend : )

  7. Hi! I've been a subscriber for months but am linking up to the party for the first time (easy breezy porch curtains). Your blog is one of the reasons why I decided to stop being a wallflower and started up a blog with my hubby last month. It's such a great community and we're happy to be a part of it.

Thank you for hosting and inspiring me to put myself out here in blogland!

  8. I love that "fitted" table cover. That's such a great idea. My kids are always pulling the tablecloth half off the table. If I made one like this they wouldn't be able to anymore. Thanks for hosting again.

  13. Hi Gina...

Oooh...I love your tablecloth/slipcover!!! I never thought about making a slipcover for the table before...but that's an especially great idea...especially for outdoors dining! You wouldn't have to worry about the breeze blowing it all around! Anyway, the fabric is gorgeous...what a great deal...the entire bolt for just $7!!!

This is my first time to participate in Transformation Thursday! I did add my link and came back later...it's gone? I guess I will try and add it again. Anyway, thank you so much for hosting this fabulous party...I enjoyed joining in with all the fun!!!

Have a wonderful day, my friend!
