It's finally finished!

Welcome to Transformation Thursday! It's the one day of the week we all get together to celebrate getting things done. No matter if this is your first time joining, or you've been here for months, everyone is welcome to share all their projects, big or small.
My husband loves me - this I know for sure. After months of being frustrated with cheap remedies and hand me down organizers, he decided that I needed a workspace. And so the biggest single thing in our house was created.

He plotted, he planned, he sketched, he measured, and he asked questions. LOTS of questions. What did I need? What did I spend the most time looking for? What gets in the way? What do I use the most? Yeah... I got tired of questions, but I answered them. And I told him that I needed
slots for paper,
shelves...

lots of shelves.

a place to put my beloved Ikea racks

a pegboard for scissors and such

and the most important part:
a place to plug up my hot glue gun!
And so if you dream it.... he will build it.
Can you hear the music from "new studio space heaven"?

And for all of you asking - yes, plans are coming soon!
Soooo whatcha got? I wanna see! And so does everybody else. Sooo let's see it! Put your PERMALINK into the Linky and link back here so everyone can find the great ideas. Welll... Let'er rip, tater chip!

  5. That's awesome Gina! Tell Mr. SCC he did a fabulous job - although I'm sure he already knows that. Very well thought out! I like the addition of the peg board. You'll find many uses for that along the way.

The white looks great against your wall color too. When will we see the rest of the living room? I know you've been working on it, and I'm looking forward to seeing it when you're done.

  35. that looks great, and it encompasses everything you would need. if i had a dollar for every time my boyfriend tells me he could make something, i'd be rich. he doesn't actually do it, mind you, because we are in a constant state of working on the house. but when that's done, like done done, i hope he actually makes these things! lucky you, you get them now!
