Enter Apartment Guide’s Your Picks. Your Place. sweepstakes for a chance to win $10,000 to redo your place to fit your personal design style. From now until August 10, visit YourPicksYourPlace.com to vote for your preferred room design showcasing furniture and home décor items selected by featured bloggers. The site will feature four different room designs every two weeks. By voting, you’ll be entered for a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize or one of eight $250 weekly prizes to go towards your own selections for your home.

We have each put together four different rooms – and you get to vote for your favorite. (Me! Me! Me! You’re gonna pick me, right?)

You can vote once each day from now until August 10, 2011. Each vote will be counted as individual entries. The Apartment Guide “Your Picks. Your Place.” featured bloggers selected items to design a living room, dining room, home office and bedroom based on four unique design themes. Every two weeks, a new room and the bloggers’ picks will be unveiled and put up for consumer voting.

This week’s room up for vote - Living Rooms! My theme was “Retro” – so I picked pieces with a kick back vibe in bursts of yellow. The rug was my jumping off point, and I looked at it for inspiration on the different shades of yellow and gray. With fun patterns & retro inspired furnishings, it is definitely a room that I would love to live in.
