magazine (un)mention & a little something new

Top.bmp Way back in January, while I was at Blissdom, I got a convo on Etsy from Jennifer at The Old Painted Cottage. She asked if I could rush her an order of some ruffled sheet music garland, as she had a big event at her home in a few days. I really had no idea what it would be, but just like always, I said yes and got her order out. Later I found out that she was going to be included in Better Homes & Gardens Christmas Ideas.

christmas tree full page I was excited to see my work in the pages of one of my favorite magazines…

Top-1 They used it for gift wrap beneath the bottom of her beautiful tree – it looks so pretty! I didn’t get a source mention, so no one will know it’s mine – but I love it just the same. I still get excited when I see little bits that come from my home in a magazine – it’s almost a little like a dream. I just wanted to share my excitement with y’all - ‘cause I knew you’d understand…

OMTWI While we’re talking about fun & exciting stuff, now seems like the perfect time to talk about one of my new projects – One Month To Win It. Although it’s not a brand new venture, I’m joining my friends Angie & Lisa to revamp the crafty competition blog. We’ve got some amazing things lined up – and if you want to join auditions will start soon – so keep your eye out!

  12. Well, that just means we will have to work double time telling everyone that we know a celebrity!! Someone published in BH&G!! And pass it on ourselves. It will be more personal that way. Sorry for you though!

  16. You must write a letter to the editor saying how pleased you were to see your stuff in the magazine. Toot your own horn a little!! That banner under the tree is so great, you have to get credit for it!
