Organized Blogging Board

 A couple of weeks ago I made a very big step: I closed my Etsy shop. I never, ever, thought I would, but lately I’ve been drawn more and more to blogging and less to making pillows and table runners every single day. Crazy, huh? A few days after I shipped my last order, I had a sudden change of heart with my workspace, too. I’ve been changing it from a working studio to an office space. I needed to get my act together, so I went back to what always works for me: a dry erase board.

 To make it all organized and stuff, I simply divided it out by where I needed my sections, then used my PSA Essentials stamps to permanently make sections.

 After I added the words, I used pretty polka dot washi tape to make the dividers.
 I’m a long way from actually getting organized, but at least it’s a start, right?

To help me even more, my friend Lori sent me a new calendar from her shop, too! I’m kind of a slacker, so it’s still blank… maybe I need to start adding in some fun events {like SNAP & Haven?}

Want more ideas for using stamps? Be sure to stop by the PSA blog.

  1. This is so cute! I love everything about it….I am going to have to make myself one. You’re so clever. Lisa~

  2. Gina, I hope this means that blogging has been profitable enough for you not to need the income from your etsy shop! It tickles me to think of someone like you being able to make a living from blogging. You do such a good job and you’re such a kind and generous presence online. More power to you!

    And I love your organization board, too! A good idea and simple enough for me to tackle!

  3. Love this idea! One of my 2013 goals is to get more organized and that starts with blogging organization too! Lots to keep up with and I like your idea!! Gives me more inspiration to get organized myself! :)

  4. I like the white board. I need to be a bit more organized when it comes to blogging. So, that I can use my time when on the computer wisely. That is one of my goals in the new year.

    Let me ask you, how to you juggle visiting others blogs and keeping up networking? This over whelms me at times. I love reading blogs, but find my time limited due to my 6 hour a day job and taking care of family.

  5. I am so sorry to hear that you closed your shop Gina..You make such pretty things..I hope that everything works out the way you want it to..Best of luck to you!!

  6. Congratulations on following your heart! When I need to “jump-start” a plan, I always go back to the basics — works every time!

  7. I love your board, would love to try something like this but not sure it would get used properly. I have 4 more days of work left, then I`m laid off. But this is a good thing because the plans I have are exciting for me! And with those plans comes the need for something similar to keep organized and on track.

  8. Hi Gina, What a cute board! I pinned it to my “blogging resources” Pinterest board for future reference. Thanks for sharing!
