Strawberry season – isn’t it the greatest season of all? No matter what time of year it is, my simple strawberry popsicles will hit the spot! They can either be made with fresh strawberries or bags from the frozen section (which makes them seriously fast to make!) With only 3 ingredient, you can indulge your sweet tooth without breaking the budget or the calorie bank!
Simple Strawberry Popsicles
ingredients:
- 2 ten ounce bags of frozen strawberries (or 1 1/2 pints of fresh strawberries quartered and frozen)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
equipment:
- measuring cup
- small sauce pan
- wooden spoon
- blender
- popsicle mold <– affiliate link alert!
directions:
In a small sauce pan make simple syrup by combining the sugar and water, then cook on medium high heat just until the sugar is dissolved completely. Do not boil. Set aside to cool. Once simple syrup is cooled, fill up your blender with half of the strawberries and pour in the simple syrup. Blend until you get a smooth slurry, then add in the other half of strawberries and blend again until smooth. Pour the mixture into the molds, then freeze for 12 hours or overnight.
Don’t like strawberries? No problem! This works well with almost any kind of fruit – so go crazy trying combinations!

We LOOOOVED making these! My name is Kim and I’m a full time Pre-K PPCD teacher and mommy to 2 beautiful toddlers. We have a live Facebook cooking show called In the Kitchen with EB&K. I find my favorite, easy and kid friendly recipes, share them with my viewers and make them with my toddlers…LIVE! Haha yup I said LIVE! My daughters are really involved in the “cooking” process and LOVE IT! By doing this, I hope to get more kids in the kitchen with their parents making fun (memories) and easy recipes.
Here is the video.
