Yes, you read that correctly. But I promise you, one bite into these Peanut Butter cookies and you’ll totally understand the title of this post!
My husband has been a huge fan of peanut butter cookies for years. Me…not so much. But I have to confess….I’ve already eaten so many of these peanut butter cookies that I lost count. OMG! I can’t stop!
I’m willing to bet you a whole jar of peanut butter all the ingredients for these cookies is in your kitchen right now. Another reason why I love these cookies. π Next time when my hubby begs me to make a “quick” baked treat for him, this recipe will be my pick!
These peanut butter cookies are great for the upcoming holidays too. All the kids can gather in the kitchen and easily whip up a batch pretty much by themselves! My sons favorite part is using the fork to make the criss-cross pattern. No great peanut butter cookie is complete without that trademark! π

The Absolute Best Peanut Butter Cookies {Gluten Free}
Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 8 minutes
Makes about 30 cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray cookie sheets with cooking spray.
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and stir together until smooth.
Roll into 1 inch balls and then place 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets. Flatten each ball with a fork, making a criss-cross pattern.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the oven. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
