This little guy and his mom buy their fabric from me, and I can assure everybody that he is genuine in his endeavor to keep providing hats to pediatric cancer patients.

It is true that Preston has never known life without cancer - until now! He was just declared CANCER FREE!!!

I know how excited he is that the shop is sold out. My employees rallied together and bought a whole cart full of fleece for him and I can't wait to surprise him when he comes in.

Gina: I went back & read the post on your Emma, and I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you and Emma's Mom and Dad. Also, I went onto Etsy and wrote to Preston to say that I'd like to make a donation of $20, without getting a hat. I don't need the hat, but U want to help out.
I think every person who usually comments on your blog, especially those WHO ARE SO QUICK TO ENTER ONE OF YOUR GIVEAWAYS, should comment now and, more importantly, give THANKS for the healthy children in their lives (as Marlo Thomas says) and give up 5 bucks for Preston on his Etsy shop for a hat for his continued good works. I hope others will see this and know that Karma will reward them for their generosity if they give.

Thank you for sharing this story. I gave up my expat life in the Middle East to return to New Zealand two years ago because my mother has cancer. She was given 3-6 months two years ago but she has battled away and is still going and fighting on. She was 86 last week.

I was shocked when she was under radiation treatment how many children I saw at the hospital, it really tugged at my heart and I oftened could not stop myself from crying. My mother has lived a long life regardless but these children are so young. Sometimes life seems so unfair.

What a courageous little boy with a wonderful idea, I will definitely be buying purchasing a hat and donating it back.

First -What a great story about this young man! What a good kid. I will pass this along to others.

I did not know about losing your first granddaughter. (I went back and read the post). We also lost a granddaughter due to hospital error.... SweetCheeks older sister. She would have been six this year and I still cannot bear to even think about it.
