Every now and then, right in the thick of a project, I’ll realize that some sort of graphic is the key taking it from ho-hum to ah-freaking-mazing. And while there’s something to be said for making everything from scratch, I’ve found that using a great free dingbat font can actually save me tons of time and usually gives me a better result than if I tried to do something from scratch. Let’s say you’re working on something and need the shape of California – there’s a font for that! Or you’d like to have a bird silhouette – there’s a font for that, too! No matter what you’re looking for, there’s probably a font that can give you a similar image (if not the exact one you have in mind.)
Today’s free font collection includes some of my very favorite free dingbat fonts – ones that I’ve found useful in projects in the past or have inspired projects on the horizon. You can print them for art, or even use a Silhouette machine to cut the shapes out of vinyl – no matter how you use them, I hope you find something to help you out on your next great project idea!
StateFace (silhouette of every state in the USA)
WCSold Out (tons of different items)
Faux Snow (pretty snowflakes)
Birds of a Feather (bird silhouettes)
Kamera Dings (different old camera images)
PizzaDude Stars (all sorts of stars)
WC Musica (instruments and other music related things)
To download each of the free dingbat fonts, click on the highlighted words below each photo, where it will take you to the font page so you can download each font individually by using the buttons on the coordinating pages.

Thank you! I cannot not find the bus, or the converse shoe, or radio… can you point me in the right direction?
