Welcome to Transformation Thursday! It’s the one day of the week we all get together to celebrate getting stuff done. No matter if you’ve been coming around for weeks, months, years, or this is your very first transformation rodeo – everyone is welcome to link up your projects at the bottom of this post.
I’m gonna shake things up just a little – and instead of a full tutorial each week, I’m just going to share one of my projects from the week and highlight some of the links from the previous week. I’ve been featuring a few of you each week on Facebook and sharing them here each week.

stenciled side table My project this week is an easy upgrade: stenciled side table. Don’t forget to stop by and enter the Cutting Edge Stencils giveaway, too!

So let’s see what y’all had to offer last week….
betterafter Little House in the Big D made over an old file cabinet with a lot of color and fun. Love the pattern and color!
Upholstered-headboard-view Tracy at Soul Style shared her gorgeous upholstered headboard. Soooo pretty!
—————

Sooooooo……. whatcha got? I wanna see – and so does everybody else! Please put your PERMALINK into the linky – and link back here so everyone can find all the great ideas. Please, please, PLEASE – pretty please DO NOT LINK TO A SHOP!!! Be sure to visit your neighbors and have fun – it is a party after all. *Please note: If you link up you are giving me permission to use your photos on my blog without contacting you (don’t worry, it’s only to show off your beautiful stuff!)*
REMEMBER: To be featured on Facebook or on next week’s party – you must have the link directly in your post. You can still link up with a link back on your party page or sidebar, but to get featured you must link in the post, m’kay?
Welllllllll…………. Let’er rip, tater chip!

If you follow me on Twitter, you’ll already know that Mr. SCC was admitted into the hospital today with MRSA. He’s on IV antibiotics, and it’s kind of a wait and see situation. They might work, they might not. MRSA is tricky, tricky stuff.

So, my friends, I have no project today. I appreciate all your prayers, calls, tweets, emails, etc. much more than you’ll ever know!

  18. I’m sorry to hear about your husband, hope he is well soon. :)

  21. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your husband…thank you for always being such a great host!

  22. The hair on the back of my neck stood up- MRSA is NOTHING to mess with. I see it everyday at the hospital..and when we admit a patient with it our screen does a big FLASH so that we know that MRSA is involved. God bless him! Please let us all know as soon as you know anything.

Bless you too, Gina, as you wait and wonder…I pray that you won’t be too anxious- xo Diana

  23. Hang in there! Hopefully this will be the right type of antibiotic to kick that MRSA’s butt! Hope he gets better soon! Thanks for hosting!

  24. Thoughts & prayers to you and your family. Thank you for hosting.

TT small Welcome to Transformation Thursday! It’s the one day of the week we all get together to celebrate getting stuff done. No matter if you’ve been coming around for months (or years), or this is your very first transformation rodeo – everyone is welcome to link up your projects at the bottom of this post.

So I have good news and bad news… let’s start with the bad… Apparently some folks are having issues with Malware on my blog today. I’ve checked it through Google and they say that there’s nothing wrong, but it will be a couple of days before everything has been combed through completely. I hate that we’re having issues, but hang with me – I’m aware of the problem and I’m working on it. It seems to be a hiccup from the domain change a few months back… thanks for your patience!

Well behaved pillow Now for the good news…. ‘cause we all need some good news, huh? This week I’m celebrating 2 years on Etsy – wow oh wow! Two whole years… thank you so, so, so, so much for all your patronage and support throughout my crazy dream come true of quitting my day job – it’s been a complete pleasure. To celebrate, I’m offering my wholesale discount for 2 days to celebrate 2 years. So, my friends, now is the time to stock up for Christmas (because it’s sneaking up fast!) To save 40% on your order, just use coupon code CELEBRATE2YRS over in my Etsy shop. Happy shopping :)

Sooooooo……. whatcha got? I wanna see – and so does everybody else! Please put your PERMALINK into the linky – and link back here so everyone can find all the great ideas. I wanted to finish my project, I really did – but I have this little redheaded girl that has a birthday tomorrow. Sooo… instead of playing with fabric, paint, and hot glue – I went shopping instead :) Shopping for Bre is always so much fun. My baby is growing up sooo fast! Between cupcakes and Abby inspired goodies – I didn’t get done. Oh well…. I’ll have a happy 11 year old, right?
But you have something, right? I wanna see and so does everybody else! Please put your PERMALINK into the linky – and DO NOT link to an Etsy shop or selling site. Please visit your party neighbors and say hello, and be sure to link back here so everyone can find the great ideas.

Welcome once again to Transformation Thursday! It’s the one day of the week we all get together to celebrate getting stuff done. No matter if it’s your first time or if you’ve been sharing your projects for months, everyone is welcome!
I haven’t really had much time to get anything new done this week, I’ve had my hands full with the Spring Supply Swap. There’s still time for everyone to join – you have until Friday to send me your info. Check out this post to learn all about it.

So… since I’ve got nothing to show off, let’s see what you’ve got! Please put your PERMALINK into the Linky and be sure to include a link back to here in your post. I really don’t like being mean and deleting links – but need to keep it fair for all those who play by the rules. Make sure to visit and comment some of the other posts so that everyone has fun. Alright…. Let’er rip, tater chip!

Welcome once again to Transformation Thursday! It’s the one day a week we all get together to celebrate gettin’ stuff done. Everyone is welcome to jump in with whatever ya got – everything is worth cheering for. Just link up at the bottom to strut your stuff!
This week I got nothing. I was gonna do a little something when I got home, but snuggling with my girls won out. We spent the afternoon tickling, snuggling, talking, catching up – just spending mom & girls time, since dad came home late from work today.
But, in a little over a week, I’ll be heading up to Nashville. I’m not going to the conference, but I am going to hang out at some of the Blissdom “outer” events and hope to meet up with all my “home (blogger) girls.” So… if you’re going – I wanna meet! Let’s sit and talk, hang out and laugh – I’ll have a car, so we might even sneak off to a thrift shop (or two)! Email me or leave a comment so we can get together!
But, you’ve got stuff, right? I know you do! Just link up with your PERMALINK and make sure to link back here so everyone can find all the great ideas. Ready to go? Well…. Let’er rip, tater chip!

Transformation Thursday

Love it? Share it: Pin on PinterestShare on YummlyShare on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterShare on StumbleUponShare on Google+Share on TumblrEmail this to someonePrint this page

Welcome to my first Transformation Thursday. I didn’t announce anything, just thought it would give me a little incentive to get more done around the house, and since Met Monday is a great motivator, I thought another weekly event would give me the kick in the pants I so badly need. I hope some of you will join me each week and take advantage of another day of accountability. I love that it falls on Thrifty Thursday, because my favorite transformations are thrifty ones!
Since today is the Junk Party at Me & My House, scoot on over and see everyone’s great stuff!

This sad side table is the only surviving piece of furniture that remains from hubby’s pre-me days. His father built it, and I believe he painted it with whatever paint he had on hand. I’ve hidden it under tablecloths and in corners for far too long. It’s a pretty piece, just a little misunderstood. Among it’s flaws, those cheap brass knobs reigned supreme, so I pampered them a little.

I mixed up some Apple Barrel paint until I got the color I liked, then painted it with a couple of coats. Over at Voila!, Lindsey inspired me to paint a piece blue.

Next I painted the drawers white, then hot-glued some yard sale ribbon on the tops & bottoms (I put a stripe of black on the very top to hide any uneven edges.)

And, without buying a single thing, I transformed an old piece of furniture to look like new!

Join me every Thursday with your transformation stories!
