    1. Is unless they are paint sharpies they won’t stay on the glass object. I know I have done it two different ways and still wouldn’t stay on unless you want to hand wash them and who wants to do that?
    2. I have a question about a sharpie on cloth, if you wash it is it going to run, or come out or things like that? I have never tried that and just wondering. Any Idea?

I wanted to read your article, but there were so many ads slowing it down that I gave up. I almost gave up leaving this message too. Please get rid of some of them.

      Hi Elizabeth,

I totally understand your frustration and I am sorry, the last thing I want to do is frustrate you or anyone! I get it, but…it costs a lot of money to run a blog of this size and it helps pay the bills and allows me to keep this blog up and running. Please, always speak your mind, offer your thoughts, suggestions and yes, even your criticisms. I value your opinion and those of all of my readers and take what you say and suggest to heart and will look at ways to improve your reading pleasure for sure!! Thank you!!

Dee, you can get white Chalkboard pens that show up great on the black lids 🙂 You can find them at any craft store, good luck!

I have been experimenting with the sharpies on various fabrics. We have used a Cotten tee shirt and a napkin that has cotton and polyester as the content. Washed the napkin and it faded badly; have t washed the tee shirt yet. Is there a way to “set” the ink before it is washed?

You can set it with heat, I use a heat press but you can try using an iron 🙂

Hi, This is a comment about the wbsite.

I find the text way too light and so it is difficult for my old eyes to read through anything on the site- so I don’t.
Lots of us retired folks have eye issues and the easier to read info on any site makes it a better site for us.
