Love kitchen decorating ideas? Then I’ve got you covered. These pretty ideas are inspiring no matter if you have a huge space to cook in, or a tiny apartment – every one of these beautiful spaces has big style, something you can take away and use in your own space. While some of the kitchen ideas below are from high end houses, others are from apartments, but the key is to look at the details to get ideas for your own space.

24 Kitchen Decorating Ideas

barn wood + modern elements = kitchen perfection

I love the mixture of the warm wood and the more modern feel – and that painting in the background really catches your eye.

I love that big island in the middle of this kitchen

The detail on the island could easily be replicated with some posts found at the hardware store.

This looks like the kitchen that Sarah Richardson did!

The details on the upper cabinets  – they take up every inch so there’s no wasted space.

what a warm and quirky kitchen - I'd love cooking here!Different shades of green plus wood tones makes this kitchen cozy, yet unique. (and that light – love it!)

those barstools are my favorite part of this kitchen

Traditional style is classic and timeless – so don’t fret if you’re not a risk taker.

I love the simply beautiful style of this apartment kitchen

If you’ve got a small space, make those appliances seem bigger with unique style.

love the brick on the back wall of this gorgeous kitchen

Mixing textures (tile backsplash, brick wall, wood counters) can bring a lot of interest.

who knew you could put such big style into such a small kitchen?

Don’t shy away from bright colors – they can add a lot to a small space.

that kitchen island is absolutely gorgeous!

White cabinets with a gray island is a great way to mix and match.

such a clean design - love this small but gorgeous kitchen!

Keep things simple, yet bring the kitchen up a notch with bold window treatments.

what a fun retro kitchen!

Love retro? Take it all the way. The lights are a sweet touch to this kitschy space.

lovely farmhouse kitchen

Bring in textures with accessories like in this farmhouse style kitchen (also, I’m taking a note to add a bicycle to my kitchen – ha!)

what's not to love about this gorgeous kitchen

Break up white cabinets and white counters with a band of wood tone (such a smart way to add interest!)

maybe I want my kitchen to be a little more modern?!?

Go bold with modern black and white (in other words, be a risk taker!)

I love these kitchen cabinets (the whole kitchen is gorgeous!)

A curved island is such a pretty change in a traditional kitchen.

that pop of aqua and those windows - this is my dream kitchen!

This kitchen gets modern *just* right, with a mix of wood, white and industrial style touches.

that kitchen island is gorgeous!

Lighting can make all the difference – these pendants are the best part of this space.

that kitchen island - be still my heart!

If you’re going all out, don’t be shy. This room is beautiful (even if it isn’t my style).

the simplicity of this kitchen is so beautiful

Sometimes simple is the best.

that pop of green really makes this kitchen!

A tiny bit of color goes a long way.

I love the wine rack above the refrigerator in this small kitchen

Small spaces can be neat and organized, yet still have great style if you pick the right elements.

a classic blue and white kitchen never gets boring

Let the dining space nod to the kitchen without replicating it.

That stove is amazing (the whole kitchen, really)

It doesn’t have to be fancy to be beautiful.

the classic kitchen - love the wood and white together

And a bit of coastal is always a good idea.

Which kitchen do you love most?

You have water-marked pictures that aren’t yours and given no credit to any of the photo owners?! Shame on you.

I actually bought these images – so I do own them. I was told by the photographer to watermark them with my own logo – so no shame needed. Thanks for reading!

i would love to see some “ordinary, regular” kitchens that most of us have. most of us don’t have those huge kitchens shown here.
