birthday cake-tini cocktail

Do you know why I love sharing cocktail posts? Two words: recipe testing. Oh yes, my friends, I’m all about sipping on a delicious cocktail! I wish I could tell you that it was someone’s birthday so I had a real reason to sample copious amounts of this amazing drink – but honestly I just love birthday cake! I mean, who doesn’t? Because if you hate birthday cake then we probably shouldn’t be friends. Or maybe we should, then I could  have your slice – haha! Either way, this cocktail takes the cake – birthday cake that is!

birthday cake-tiniTo make a birthday cake-tini you’ll need:

1 ounce of cake vodka -(you can use marshmallow vodka in a pinch)

3.5 oz of half and half

1 oz of simple syrup

Put it all into a cocktail shaker with some ice and shake for about 20-30 seconds until frothy and well chilled. Pour into a martini glass, top with whipped cream and sprinkles. You really don’t wanna skip that part – those toppings are pretty important to the taste factor to make it all birthday cakey.
