Blueberry Lemonade Popsicles

Blueberry-Lemonade-Popsicles

Hey friends, I’m Emily and I am normally over at The Benson Street. I am so excited to be here sharing my crazy ideas.

Can you believe summer is right around the corner? I am looking forward to sitting on the porch sipping lemonade or enjoying a popsicle. To make life even sweeter, I decided to put lemonade and popsicles together to create blueberry lemonade popsicles.

delicious summer treat: berry lemonade pops

To make Blueberry Lemonade Popsicles you will need:

  • 1 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice (about 5 to 6 lemons)
  • 1 cup of fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 4 cups of water

Berry Lemonade popsicles- perfect for summer

To get started, squeeze the lemons for the juice.

Puree or mash blueberries.

In a juice pitcher mix: lemon juice, blueberries, sugar, and water.

Taste the mixture and add more of any ingredient to taste if needed.

DIY Popsicles: Berry Lemonade pops

Pour the mixture into a popsicle mold. Insert sticks and freeze for 6 to 7 hours or overnight. To remove, run popsicle molds under warm water for 15 seconds. Slide mold off and enjoy.

If there is any of the mixture left over, it is perfect to drink as a blueberry lemonade.
