Hi there, it’s Laura from Inspiration for Moms. School is out and it’s time to celebrate with an awesome summer dessert. The party begins with one word….kabob. I think everyone can agree that eating food on sticks is just FUN. And when the food is chocolate brownies paired with fresh fruit…you know it’s going to be a hit!
My Chocolate Banana Split Kabobs have all the flavors of a traditional banana split BUT it’s all on a stick. This is a great dessert to remember when you need to impress guests in a flash.
My son has never been a fan of brownies. Gasp! I know. 🙂 So I decided to use marshmallows (his favorite) in place of the brownie. After that one change, I instantly had a very happy 8 year-old boy.
The combinations of fruit and cake goodies is endless. If you’re super crunched for time, your guests could even build their own kabobs. All you would need is a few bowls of sliced fruit with pieces of brownies, pound cake, or even angel food cake. Just think, a pairing of blueberries and strawberries combined with pound cake would make the perfect 4th of July dessert kabobs!
If you love Banana Splits, you should also give my Banana Split Dream Pie a try. This dessert has been a huge hit with my readers!
As always I love reading your comments, so please let me know how your family and friends like the kabobs! I’ll be back soon with another special dessert just for you. 🙂

You’re making my mouth water! These look delicious…
Yummy! Going to try these kabobs, minus the chocolate drizzle. I don’t want sticky hands on my new white couch 🙂
These are yummy and what a fun dessert to put together when short on time
