Cleaning Closet Organizing Ideas

*This post is sponsored by 3M*

Cleaning isn’t my favorite thing in the world. Yeah, it’s a necessity of life, but I find that if things are organized and easier to access then it isn’t quite the chore. I’m not always the one who cleans the bathroom or vacuums the floors (because I’m not the only one who lives here) but I’ve found that it’s easier to coax others in my house to help if they can actually find what they need to use. So I decided to dive into the abyss of my cleaning closet and get things in order with a few organizing ideas.

Yeah… that’s the before. Scary, huh? It took almost as long to find what you needed to use as it did to dust or sweep the floor. So I completely cleaned out the closet from top to bottom to basically start all over.

I started by figuring out what actually needed to return and the things that didn’t belong found new homes. And yeah… it’s a little weird that pool towels and chemicals need to be here, but it is what it is 🙂

I found that Command Wire Hooks were my BFF in organizing. I used as much of the walls as I could to hang up frequently used items like my dust pan.

And scrub brushes and dusters. I also found that the Command Spring Clips were perfect for hanging gloves, which actually helps me keep up with them.

But my favorite part was using the door to get things off the floor. I used Command Broom Hangers to put up the broom and mop and duster.

Now if I could just get the kids to clean without reminders… then my cleaning routine would be complete. I’ll just keep dreaming on that one 🙂

*Thanks to Command for partnering with me on this post. All ideas, opinions and photos are 100% my own.*

These are some very good ideas. Using the hooks for the smaller items is perfect. The smaller items are usually the things you just cannot find when you need them. These ideas are very useful
