A quick chair makeover

Easy DIY refurbished furniture: make this vintage chair makeover with just a little bit of paint and some left over fabric! Mr. SCC is an enabler. Yep, he has taken to feeding my chair obsession. I knew there was a reason I married him. Remember the other day when I hit the jackpot at Goodwill? The one thing I found but didn’t buy was this chair. I mentioned it to him, and guess what he did? He brought me home a chair. See! He’s such a good fella!

A quick redo – about an hour total… love those kinda results! I spray painted the frame with my favorite Krylon Dual in White, then shabbied & glazed it. Then I covered the seat in canvas before adding on a yummy aqua stripe.

Easy DIY refurbished furniture: make this vintage chair makeover with just a little bit of paint and some left over fabric!

Hmmmmm…. I’m wondering if there might be more spaces in my house that needs a new chair…

Just wondering why you covered it in canvas and then a striped fabric?

    Hi Lesley!
I used the canvas underneath because the white stripe showed the dark fabric through it 🙂

I just have to add – that would be perfect in my tiny little beach cottage (that I don’t have yet, but dream of). It really is beautiful!
