Hey there and Happy Friday! It’s me, Laura from Inspiration for Moms stopping by to share with you another delicious dessert that is so healthy, you could even eat it for breakfast. Honest!
I promised you a chocolate treat this month and I am here to deliver! These Healthy Chocolate Breakfast Cookies are chewy and delicious. You may be surprised to discover that you will only need three ingredients to make them. How’s that for easy? 🙂
I would normally never eat cookies for breakfast, but when you consider what’s in these babies…they’re pretty healthy. All you need is a couple of bananas, some oats and a few chocolate chips. Then you’re only 15 minutes away from enjoying this little treat with a warm cup of coffee.
The banana and oats give this cookie a soft, chewy texture. While the few chocolate chips add a subtle sweetness. The best way to describe them is like eating a mini banana oat muffin. As you might have guessed, I used gluten-free oats in my recipe. But feel free to substitute with regular oats. These cookies are a quick and delicious on-the-go breakfast option that will keep your diet in check. They can also be great for snacks or even an after dinner dessert. With two cookies being less than a 100 calories, these treats are a great choice for anyone!
If you love bananas, I have another healthy dessert that you should try. My Chocolate Coconut Banana Bites are only 35 calories a pop. Oh and they totally taste like candy!
Alright, so now go jump in your kitchen and make yourself some breakfast cookies to start your weekend right! I’ll see you again in April! 🙂
