How to use old cribs

Old cribs are one of those things that make great keepsakes if you have the room for them. Unfortunately, most people can’t justify the space they take up, so they sell or donate them once they’ve been outgrown. There is another option, though – you can repurpose old cribs. Take a look at how some upcycling geniuses have been turning old cribs into other amazing pieces.

As you can see, there are plenty of great reasons for keeping that crib around long after the babies have outgrown it – especially if it’s beyond repair to have for the next baby.

Are you inspired to repurpose your own crib now? Which one of these is your favorite?

Great timing for this post! My son moved into his big boy bed and selling hasn’t happened. So, I was thinking of doing a daybed for our screened in porch. The swing ideas is great but I don’t have that I don’t know if mine can handle it. We had an old crib that I took the springs from and spray painted to hold my daughter’s bows and head bands. It’s perfect!

This idea of turning crib into another project is really smart. Your money don’t go to waste because instead of keeping the crib, you can actually make it into something useful like a bench or study table. This will bring good news to all DIY lovers out there.

Love the repurposed cribs, especially the white iron one it was gorgeous. I also liked the one made into a storage bin, very practical and useful at the same time.
