Old doors can be found pretty easily, often on the side of the road. Their size and sturdiness makes them a great candidate for repurposing them into something new, often with very little work. So this collection of ideas is all about doors and what to do with them. Whether you’re buying one new, or finding one for cheap or free – these ideas will make you think twice about the humble old door!

My question is how or what do you use to clean and prep the wood and windows before creating your project. I have old windows and door insert window panels but can’t find any way to clean them prior to making my projects.
Thanks

I would use a standard all purpose cleaner like Mr.Clean then sand it and clean it again before you start your project.

I loved the dining table, it was gorgeous. I also loved the dressing vanity. The door used was a gorgeous door with the carving at the bottom. And then to replace the window with mirror, it is so pretty.
