How to Make Paper Ranunculus

Want to make paper ranunculus? Learn to make them with this detailed, step-by-step video. Make your own paper ranunculus that last forever!

When you love flowers, but can’t seem to find pretty ones, then paper flowers can be a great alternative. I love making them, because it’s basically a crafting meditation. Once you get started, it’s the same motion over and over and as you work your way around, you’ll see them begin to come to life.

These in particular are made from crepe paper streamers – which is kinda perfect because we all have them left from parties sitting in the back of the closet, right?

How to make paper ranunculus

Instead of trying to take photos of steps that are somewhat hard to explain with words, I shot this quick video so you can see exactly how I use a simple brush & some Mod Podge to put the petals I cut from the streamers to bring the paper ranunculus to life.

So pretty! I just tried one out, and it actually worked! Wish I could attach a pic for you. 🙂 I am planning a women’s retreat and I might use these for decorating the tables, since now I know how easy they are (and very budget friendly!)
