Hi there Shabby Creek Cottage readers! It’s Laura from Inspiration for Moms back with another fab dessert. I’m totally in love with this new season, aren’t you?! The gorgeous colors, the coolness in the air and the welcoming of more warm, comfort food. Oh yes! My Slow Cooker Baked Apples recipe has sweet comfort written all over it!
One bite into these sweet tender apples and you’ll know that life is truly a beautiful thing! I usually start this recipe in the slow cooker late afternoon and by the time we finish our dinner, the apples are ready to be devoured.
The whole process is as simple as one, two, three. First, core your apples.
Second, combine all the sweet goodies to make your apple stuffin’. ๐
Third, cook. See….I told you this was easy! A great dessert for busy nights when you’re trying to cook dinner with a screaming 7-month-old while helping your 3rd grader do their homework. Or maybe that’s just my life these days. ๐
I hope you give these Baked Apples a try. Your tummy will thank you! I can’t wait to be back next month and share another sweet treat with you. Now get those apples in your slow cooker and then get outdoors and soak in some fall! ๐
