vintage inspired fall display

Can you believe that fall is finally in the air? Today I’m teaming up with some amazing bloggers to share some vintage inspired fall display ideas – including mine that brings together some simple elements to create an easy display with an ode to autumn.

Vintage Style Fall Vignette

After the great purge I had very little true vintage stuff left, but this old school library table & the cheese box planter were my jumping off point to get that vintage vibe going.

Simple Fall Display

Books are always my decorating weapon of choice, so I stacked a few with the hues of the season, and topped them with a simple gold painted pumpkin.

Natural Fall Arrangement

Add in a simple natural arrangement of sticks, grasses, etc. and that’s all it took to finish off my simple vintage inspired fall display.

Vintage Inspired Fall Display

Now I gotta get the rest of my house ready so I can share it all in it’s fall glory in a home tour next week. Have you gotten the fall decorating bug yet?

Well – great minds think alike! Went last minute school supply shopping yesterday for the first day of school TODAY and got the kids all of their notebooks, pencils and papers. . . and 6 brand spankin’ new clipboards for ME!! I think I might paint them. . . . haven’t decided. . . .
