Christmas in Jars: Snowball Truffles

Ingredients

  • One 8 oz. package of cream cheese softened
  • 8 oz. of Baker’s white chocolate finely chopped
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Whip the cream cheese until smooth using a mixer. Melt the chocolate. With a mixer, incorporate the melted chocolate one spoon at a time until all incorporated. Spoon the mixture out into a glass pie pan and chill in refrigerator for 2-3 hours until firm.
  2. Once mixture is firm, use a small scoop (or a spoon) to dip out equal portions and drop into powdered sugar. Dust your hands with powdered sugar, then roll the truffles until they are round. Roll around in powdered sugar and chill until served.
  3. This recipe makes 20 truffles (using a small baking scoop) – but you could double or triple it for parties.
  4. Place them in a jar, then tie on a ribbon for gift giving. Your friends and family will thank you profusely
