Place sausages in slow cooker.

Stir in the garlic, frozen pepper mix, banana peppers, tomato sauce, tomato paste, italian seasoning & pepper

Cover, set heat to LOW and simmer 8-10 hours (or 4-5 hours on HIGH)

20 minutes before serving, wrap your hoagie rolls in aluminum foil and throw in a 350* oven for 10 minutes to warm (alternately, wrap two at a time in a paper towel and microwave for 20-30 seconds).

If desired, place a slice of provolone cheese into each hoagie roll.

Spoon a sausage and the red sauce pepper mixture into the hoagie rolls.

Top with another slice of provolone cheese or shredded mozzarella if desired
