Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream, milk & butter, to create the sauce.

Add in the hash browns, cheese, bacon, the white part of onions, salt & pepper, mix well into the sauce and put into a pan (a large cast iron works best, but a casserole dish will do).

Bake for 1 hour or until top is golden around the edges.

After it’s done, let sit for 10 minutes, then scatter the green onions on top.
