Valentine's Day is almost here! To celebrate, I'm joining in with some amazing blogs to bring you some ideas and a linky party, too. Today I'm sharing my Valentine's Day Tablescape - one that's loaded with pink & aqua (of course!), plaid & polka dots.... sigh.... that's a lot of cuteness all for my sweethearts to start their breakfast with a little love.
Tiny touches like some pretty flowers go a long way to make any meal a little more special. A thrift store vase wrapped in scrapbook paper and ribbon makes it even prettier, don't you think?
I don't do place cards every day, but special days are a little different. I'm sharing how to make these on Graphics Fairy DIY today.
There's nothing really fancy, I just used my normal things: everyday dishes, some scrap fabric for table runners & linens. I did pay attention to the details, though with small touches like pretty paper straws. I believe holidays should be celebrated (no matter how small!)
Not a morning person? You could set it up the night before, or just make it dinner ready by adding in a few candles.... ooooh la la!
