Why I never thought of a blackberry mojito before now baffles me. Berries and mint go so well together – and anything with alcohol is just better, right? So if you like blackberries and you’re a mojito fan, then this cocktail is a no brainer. It’s pretty easy to whip up, and let’s face it: any time you get to mush stuff up with a muddler then it’s kind of stress relief before the booze sets in.
Blackberry Mojito Cocktail Recipe

Ingredients:
- 3-4 mint leaves
- 4-5 blackberries
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup (more if you like it sweeter)
- 1 1/2 oz. of white rum
- top with mineral water (like Pellegrino)
- ice
Directions:
Put the mint leaves and blackberries into a glass and muddle them together. (PS – if you don’t have an actual muddler, you can use the handle end of a wooden spoon in a pinch.) Fill glass with ice. Pour rum and simple syrup on top, then fill glass with mineral water.
It really is a simple recipe – and you can easily substitute other berries – or even mix and match. Wouldn’t strawberries be yummy? Or maybe mix raspberries and blackberries, too.
No matter if you stick with blackberries or add your own flair, just garnish your glass with the topping of your choice and slip away into your own personal paradise!
PS – isn’t this bar set cute? I love that it comes will all the pieces and they’re so pretty too. I’m kind of a sucker for wooden utensils!
