Halloween Mantle

I’ve been promising my big spooky mantel reveal all week long – and today is finally the big day! We started with the elements on Monday…

and Crooked Frames…

 Halloween Mantle

And here’s all of it put together!

Halloween Decor

I added in a couple of Dollar Tree black birds & some gauzy cloth (2 of each). Someone asked where I get my candles – Big Lots has the 4 inch in a four pack for $6 – but I know they have larger ones, too. They’re the best color and shape I’ve found (I’m not a big fan of Dollar Tree candles).

Halloween Decorating Ideas

And some curly moss for a little more spookiness!

Halloween Mantel

I think this may be my favorite mantle yet! The best part was the grand total – $15 ($2 for birds, $2 for gauzy cloth, $1 for book, $10 frames – everything else was on hand). Gotta keep the costs down, ya know!

I LOVE the little gargoyles sitting on either side of your fire place. They are so friggin’ cute! 🙂 I’m really liking book page stuff right now so this whole set-up appeals to me.

Fantastic, Gina! The moss looks super spooky. And I know the book page garland is supposed to add to the spookiness, but I just think its gorgeous! 🙂
