Dining room inspiration comes in all forms – but my favorite sources are always catalogs! I love thumbing through a hard copy or even online to see what designers come up with and how they bring the space together. I did a little digging to find sone of the best dining room ideas, so we can all do a little dreaming.

DINING ROOM INSPIRATION
This dining room from Pottery Barn brings a lot of different elements, but keeps the wood tones fairly consistent throughout the space – with the exception of the floors. I love how they brought in different textures with the chairs, then the branches and of course the rug.
Light is the key component in this dining room from Joss & Main – from the natural light (THOSE WINDOWS – GASP!), to the chandelier to the lamp way back in the corner.
I think there’s a couple of lessons to be learned from this room via Target. 1) Mix some, match some. The wood chairs match the table, but not all the chairs match. Love that! 2) Great style doesn’t have to cost a fortune. Those X back chairs are $159 for the pair. Nice!
If you’ve ever been to World Market, you know they’re not afraid of color. And this space shows exactly why… all the color in here is gorgeous!
Urban Outfitters teaches us that modern minimalism can be magical! There’s punch of color in this all white space, so it really brings your attention. If you’re going for this look, be sure you pick something AMAZING as the focal point.
This Birch Lane dining room is the direct opposite, where more is… well.. more. It’s filled up with lots of beautiful things, which brings in a cozy feel.
And lastly I’ve learned from West Elm: If you’ve got gorgeous surroundings then keep everything else simple to show it off.
