My favorite show on HGTV hands down is Fixer Upper. Farmhouse furniture is my very favorite kind. Maybe because it’s rather budget friendly – or the simple lines lend themselves to all skill levels of DIYers – or maybe it’s because I’m smitten with the way Joanna Gaines infuses farmhouse furniture into every episode of Fixer Upper. The best part of building your own furniture is that you can save so much money – usually 75-90% of what you’d pay for the piece retail.

Your furniture is super cute. Your name caught my eye, my maiden name is Luker and it is not common so whenever I see it I wonder if we are distantly related. 🙂

Really nice farmhouse furniture plans. I think my brother would really love these… particularly the TV stand! He’s actually thinking of getting more precision into his projects using a CNC router; he found a program that shows you how to build one at home for three figures and I’ve been reading up on it a bit for him. A guy on a site called Carve Your Creation says that he put it together for under $300. Have any opinion on this machine? Hm… I’ll have to look into it more. Thanks again for the plans!
