There is a particular kind of magic that happens when witchy women gather…
not the kind of magic that only exists in storybooks or movie spells, but the real kind, woven through daily ritual, sisterhood, and intention.
It’s a pulse you can feel in your bones: ancient, electric, quietly revolutionary. It’s the magic of recognition. Of being seen and celebrated for the truest, most magical version of yourself.
Last weekend, my old manor became the setting for a weekend that felt straight out of a spellbook. The kind of gathering where every candle flickered with intention, every bouquet of wildflowers was an altar, and laughter sounded like incantations.
For three days, magical women crossed the threshold—not just with suitcases, but with cauldrons of longing, old wounds, sacred curiosities, and the hope of a circle that truly gets it.

From the moment you stepped inside, you could sense the magic at work. Sunlight spilled across altar spaces, the scent of herbs and incense mingled in the halls, and little charms peeked out from pockets and pouches.
Conversations wove through the air about magic and dreams, spells for protection, and rituals to honor the solstice. There were moments of meditation, potions in the kitchen, rituals of burning burdens while howling at the moon, and barefoot walks in the garden that felt like invitations for the fae.

At first, everyone danced cautiously on the edge of vulnerability. But bit by bit, the walls fell, just like they do when the circle is safe and the magic is real. We talked over cartomancy readings, created art like rituals, and dove into our gifts of intuition and honoring who we truly are. We swapped spell stories, traded crystals, and held space for both the shadow work and the everyday miracles.
This is the soul of real witchcraft—community, healing, presence, and power. Not something you buy in a shop or see on TikTok, but something built, day by day, as women gather to witness each other’s magic.

Why we need community now more than ever
And let’s be honest: it’s getting harder and harder to find that. Our world was not built for witches. True sisterhood often exists outside of traditional spaces. The church, the PTA, the break room at work—they’re not always safe havens for the wild, the wise, or the weird. We live in a world that still asks us to shrink, to hide our magic, to edit our voices and dim our light.
But not here. Not in this community. Not in the spaces we create for ourselves.
Safe, magical spaces are not a luxury—they’re a necessity.
We are living through a time where the world feels increasingly chaotic and hostile. The news cycle, the division, the heaviness—we carry it all, often alone.
But when you find your coven, your council, your circle of witchy souls, you discover what true safety feels like. You get to exhale, unclench, and remember: you are not alone, you are not too much, and your magic was never a mistake.

This is exactly why I created the Soft Life Society.
SLS is more than a membership. It’s a digital community—a modern-day coven where the witchy, the weary, and the wildly hopeful gather in sacred sisterhood. Each week, we meet for live rituals, energy work, spells, seasonal celebrations, and soul-led classes.
We also have weekly sessions for healing with certified professionals, share practical tools for regulating your nervous system, and invite you to learn both the art and the science of living magically in a world that wants you tame.
Inside SLS you’ll find:
- Weekly gatherings: Spell sessions, lunar rituals, live energy healing, and witchy wisdom circles.
- Weekly group sessions with professionals: Because tending to your nervous system is a form of magic.
- A library of magical, practical classes: Everything from protection spells and ancestral work, to daily enchantments and radical self-reclamation.
- A coven group chat: Share your tarot pulls, spellwork, and moon rituals without fear or judgment.
- A digital copy of Illumine magazine each month: Brimming with spells, rituals, witchy inspiration, and everyday magic.
- A true coven: Not a clique. Not a classroom. A family for all your incarnations.
Because here’s the truth: when you find your people—the ones who speak your language of magic, who honor your rituals, who know how sacred you are even when you’ve forgotten—it changes everything. It changes you.
If you are longing for a place where you can talk about shadow work and moon phases in the same breath as heartbreak and hope, if you are searching for a circle that celebrates your weirdness, your wildness, and your witchcraft, if you’re craving softness, strength, and belonging all at once—this is your invitation.
There is a seat waiting just for you. You belong somewhere you can exhale—and cast a spell or two while you’re at it.

Come find your coven in the Soft Life Society.
We’re waiting for you by candlelight.
I can’t afford this but I hope you are a success and keep feeling rejuvenated and healthy! I am sad to see in the picture above you don’t have your beautiful light filled smile. I hope it was stress of doing your first excursion and not the weight of the world on your shoulders!
