Valentine’s Mantel & a giveaway!

Welcome to day 2 of Valentine’s Week! I’m so excited to bring you these ideas along with Liz from Hoosier Homemade, Kellie at Nest of Posies, Amy at The Idea Room and Charlotte at The Paper Cupcake. Yesterday I was a little sneaky, just showing you a peek of…. my wreath!

I had this crazy idea to put sweet, pretty felt roses on a barbed wire wreath. Yep, I told you it was crazy :) I’ve had the roll of barbed wire in my barn for… have mercy, I don’t even know how long! It was one of those things that I thought, “I’m gonna use that one day.” And one day finally arrived. Later this week I'll share how I made the roses and attached them to the "wreath."

I kept my favorite mercury glass candlesticks, adding in a sweet little bead board heart.

And on the other side is my “be mine” sign with a little whitewashed metal tucked behind.
