how to make starfish ornaments

how to make starfish ornamentsStarfish ornaments are the perfect, quick craft for so many occasions: weddings, birthday parties, summer parties, Christmas decor, the list goes on and on. They’re so quick and easy to make that you can have a whole batch of them in a matter of minutes. You can use any color of ribbon to coordinate them to almost any event – and you can also make them from any size of starfish, too.
All you need to make some is a starfish, some thin ribbon or twine and a Dremel or drill.
I used a pretty thin bit to drill through one leg of the starfish.
Just go in sideways and keep it level.
String on your ribbon and tie a knot – and you’re good to go!
Try skinny ones, knobby ones – oooh the possibilities! You’ll be tying starfish ornaments onto everything you can think of – they’ll become rather addictive!

Gina, Those are so cute! I’m sorry I haven’t been by lately. Too many ‘must do’s on the list..like birthday parties, anniversary, baby births, and house maintenance from five hours away. July is almost as busy for us as October (four of my kids born that month!)

I’ve been doing more cleaning than transforming so I haven’gotten to link up.

You make the cutest things Gina!
