Looking for a great gingerbread cake recipe? Whip up this quick and easy cake to feed your cravings and please a holiday crowd!
Hello Shabby Creek readers, it’s Emily from The Benson Street. I hope you are enjoying the cooler weather and the holidays coming soon. I love decorating gingerbread houses at Christmas, but normally when I decorate them I don’t end up getting to enjoy any of the gingerbread. Luckily I’ve found a way to enjoy the flavor of gingerbread in a much easier way. Although this gingerbread cake recipe is easy, it is sure to please a crowd at all your holiday parties.
This cake comes together so fast. Just simple mix the ingredients, bake the cake and top with whipped cream. Simple and delicious.
Crushed candy canes add a beautiful holiday touch to the top of the cake.
The cake is so moist and has a lovely spiced flavor. I looking forward to enjoying this cake all December long. Let’s get baking!
