Great finds and I love the ideal of leaving the cheese dome.
I sometimes buy plates to do the same or so I don’t have to pick them up, but the cheese dome is so much better. Thanks for sharing.

A sweet hello from Frog Hollow Farm. Lovely little finds, thanks for sharing. I have a thing for sweet pitchers, and filling them with flowers is a great idea – we do it all the time. Ciao, bella!

Two essentials for sure! I was lucky enough to get a cheese dome at a garage sale last year for just $1. I sterilized it in the dishwasher and am planning to paint the wooden part a pretty color and use it as a dessert dome. I might even add a wooden candle holder base to the bottom and make it a cake stand. 🙂

Farmhouse style is so hot right now. These kitchens are so cozy and quaint, My country kitchen is a little more cottage kitsch but do have quite a few farmhouse elements in it. I have always wanted to live in an old farmhouse in the country.

I have an actual 150 year old farmhouse and every room is a square box with at least one weird bump out wall where a chimney(unusable) or radiator is in the way. I have searched high and low for budget friendly farmhouse ideas where the kitchen is not open, and have never had luck. Any ideas? I have had 1950’s cabinets painted white forever, removed some uppers for a more updated look, but there is only so much you can do with no money and the square dimensions when radiators take up a whole wall.
