I know, I know… I’m a little behind on the trend. Everybody has already posted how to make a book page wreath all over blogworld, but I’m in a creative slump, so I thought I’d just do something – anything – just to get my juices flowing again. Couple the creative block with the fact that I really, REALLY wanted to make one of these, and it was a good way to push myself to do something new (and it was pretty relaxing, too!) I started with a book of Shakespeare plays. I found mine at a thrift ... continue reading...
Bre’s dollhouse shelf
A couple of weeks ago I revealed Bre’s room makeover, thanks to the help of my fabulous friends. Amazingly enough, the former packrat has kept her space show room clean. Yesterday I shared Bre’s room, and now it’s time to share Lala’s space. Her entire room was designed around her favorite purse. The girl sure takes after her mamma, and loves pretty bags. This ... continue reading...
A pink girl’s bedroom
It’s amazing what a house full of bloggers can do together in only 3 days! I hosted my friends for a weekend of fun & DIY – redoing both my girls’ bedrooms in less than 72 hours. Today’s room reveal is for my baby girl, Bre. Bre is my girly girl. She loves all things pink & pretty, but at 12 years old, she needed a space that would grow with her through her teen years. Our goal was to create lots of storage, and to keep the furniture somewhat simple, so that in a few years all that ... continue reading...
